Summer is finally in full swing, and while there are plenty of reasons to get excited for the season—long days, warm weather, summer vacations—for fashion fans, one consideration always reigns supreme: the urge to do a major closet revamp. Whether it’s stocking up on the year’s hottest trends (fisherman sandals! hot pink anything!) or upgrading your timeless pieces for your capsule wardrobe, all that shopping is a bag, and potentially expensive, undertaking. Searching for the perfect pieces, checking out celebrity favorites, reading online reviews, and hunting for a bargain can make the whole process an emotional, not to mention financial, drain. Which is why so many e-shopping fashionistas mark their calendar every year for Amazon‘s Prime Day celebration.

Started in 2015 as part of Amazon’s 20th anniversary celebrations, Prime Day has, in recent years, transformed into an annual 2-day event for dedicated online shoppers. While Amazon is still keeping the precise dates for this year’s sale a secret, last year it made a return to its traditional summer timeline (the sale was moved to the fall in 2020 due to the pandemic) making it seem likely that we’ll be seeing more news of big deals to come in the near future.
