Staff Picks for Spring – Beth Millner Jewelry
[ad_1]
Spring in the Upper Peninsula is a long and rainy transition, but we make the best of it with pretty reminders of the summer months ahead. Looking for something to spruce up your wardrobe as you shed your winter layers? Check out our staff’s favorite jewelry for celebrating spring:
Beth’s Picks:
Labradorite Wonderland Pendant (coming soon!) and Superior Gales Earrings
“This Labradorite Wonderland pendant is my current favorite, I seem to like the pieces best I designed most recently. A few others that are similar will be released in May! I combined this new pendant with the classic Superior Gales earrings which match almost any outfit and coordinate really well with this pendant!”
Nina’s Picks:
Honey Bee Datolite Pendant and Wildflower Earrings
“My 2 spring favorites are Datolite Honey Bee Pendant and the Wildflower Earrings because they work well as a set for a special occasion. I love the symmetry of the bee and the honeycombs in the pendant as well as the warm honey colored Datolite. The wildflowers tie everything together as the source of the “honey”, perfect for welcoming spring!”
Lex’s Picks:
Copper Firebrick Ring and Tree Frog Fundraiser Pendant
“I love the history behind Copper Firebrick as much as the beauty. They are not actually gemstones, but remnants of the smelting facilities in old Upper Peninsula copper mines. This double band ring is the perfect way to show it off.
My other favorite is the Tree Frog Fundraiser Pendant for the Keweenaw Land Trust. The fundraiser jewelry program exemplifies one of the reasons I love working here, commitment to make the world a better place. The Keweenaw Land Trust works to preserve land I care about and this frog is super cute.”
Jane’s Picks:
Woodpecker Birch Earrings and Marquette Agate Ring
“When I think of spring, I think of birds, and so I love our Woodpecker Birch Earrings for this time of year. Lately, I’ve been seeing so many Blue Jays in the trees around my house, and even though they’re a different type of bird, it reminds me of these earrings! I’ve also been loving our stone rings, particularly this peachy Marquette Lake Superior Agate.”
Alexa’s Picks:
Cat Pendant and Sunflower Ring
“Your favorite jewelry will enhance your outfits and express something about your personality. The Cat Pendant says it all: I love my cats! It’s also cute and stylish enough to wear with more formal outfits.”
“The use of texture and color in the Sunflower Ring make it a real work of art. I love the fabric details pressed into the copper to imitate the look of sunflower seeds. I recently gifted this ring to my sister-in-law, who needed a little bit of sunshine in her life!”
Alex’s Picks:
Moon and Stars Tree Couple Wonderland Pendant and Lake Superior Agate Ring
“Beth’s love for UP stones has slowly worked its way into my favorite pieces! The Moon and Stars Tree Couple Greenstone Pendant caught my eye because I’ve never seen Beth use a triangle shaped Greenstone before, and the design is dainty and frankly really pretty. My second favorite is one of the Lake Superior agate rings. This particular one looks like a marble and the layering within the stone always catches my eye.”
Robin’s Picks:
Copper Firebrick Drop Pendant and Conifer Couple Ring
“I love this Copper Firebrick Drop Pendant because it is so unique! The metallic shimmer is subtle enough that it can be dressed up or dressed down, plus it reminds me of the Copper Country’s rich history. I also picked the Conifer Couple ring for its eye-catching design. The conifer motif is one of my favorite design elements Beth uses in her jewelry, and the contrast between the silver and copper really makes the trees stand out.”
