Key ingredients in the Cleanse & Glow : 

ACEROLA CHERRY

This powerouse ingredient is rich in antioxidants. These cherries are specially handpicked in Brazil whilst still green to retain maximum nutritional content. One single acerola cherry can contain up to 80 times the vitamin C of an orange so this will help to really brighten the skin and even out the tone.

ORGANIC BLACK BEE HONEY

Honey is such a fabulous ingredient in skincare! It is renowned for its soothing, anti-bacterial and balancing properties. The honey within this cleanser is potent organic black bee honey made by rare black bees in the Swiss Alps and harvested by hand. It is then fermented to boost it’s active properties making it super effective. Honey is really good for balancing and soothing all skin types and also will help with blemishes and hormonal breakouts.

ELDERBERRY OIL

Elderberry seed oil has a wealth of skincare benefits : rich in fatty acids and antioxidants, is it really nourishing and improves skin’s elasticity without feeling heavy on the skin. This oil sustainably wild-harvested in Poland and the seeds used are a natural by-product of the juice industry.  

My review after 3 weeks of use:

I LOVE THIS CLEANSER!  I’ve been sharing it a bit on my Instagram stories and so many people who I know who have purchased it are absolutely loving it! For me, this is a perfect AM cleanser, because of the brightening properties. It leaves my skin feeling really fresh, enlivened and the scent of Bergamot is really lifting and energising for that AM shower.

It has a lovely thick gel texture when you first apply it, this melts to an oil when warmed up on the skin or between the hands and once you splash some water on, it will turn into a milk which is easily removed with just warm water. You can of course, use a cleansing cloth to remove or hands and water is fine. It doesn’t leave any oily residue on your skin.

I have noticed it does recommend not to use around the eye area, however I have many-a-times with no problem but I think it’s good to be aware of this!

My perfect AM skincare routine using Liz Earle skincare is cleansing with the Cleanse & Glow in the shower, then using the Superskin Eye Cream and a couple of drops of the Brightening Botanical Drops in with the Superskin Moisturiser (I am using the fragrance-free one at the moment). You can also use the gorgeous Skin Tonic as a skin prep and this would work very well in this routine but I have just run out of this! 

How to use the Liz Earle Cleanse & Glow :

1.) Apply a grape-size amount to the fingertips and warm between the hands and massage onto the face. I like to work it into my skin to let the ingredients get to work.

2.) Splash on warm water which will turn the cleanser texture to a watery milk.

3.) Rinse off any excess : you don’t have to use a cloth!
