In this post, I talk about 10 trendy plant-based pieces to shop at Saks Off 5th now. I recently went shopping at the off-price retailer– Saks off 5th, in Mission Valley in San Diego California. I was actually surprised to find many cotton pieces throughout the store. I found more cotton pieces than I usually do in other stores.
In this post, I share several pieces that are very trendy that are made from at least 90% cotton, linen, or lyocell plant-based fabrics. Tops, jackets, dresses, pants, etc. are all made in plant-based fabrics, and few with less than 10% elastane/spandex.
Saks off 5th is an outlet store of the luxury department store clothing chain– Saks 5th Avenue. Their outlet store– Saks Off 5th carries discount luxury fashion, designer clothing, and accessories. They sell luxury clothing and designer brands up to 70% off.
Saks Off 5th is similar to the Nordstrom luxury department store chain where they also have a discount clearance store called Nordstrom Rack.
Most of the “shop the look” links I include are from the Saks Off 5th website, but there was one piece that I found in the store that I couldn’t find on the Saks Off 5th website, so I chose to add the the brand name’s website shop link.
I also include what makes their brand ethical, sustainable, and/or things they are doing that are helping support the earth and human health. I add a (*) at the beginning of the sentence that talks about their sustainability/ethical practices.
This post does not include all of what they are doing, I am just adding one important thing that they are doing that is sustainable/ethical. Each brand is supporting human health by producing plant-based apparel, because it is healthy and therapeutic to wear plant-based textiles.
