AFRE is proud to present nine exceptional AZventure instructional study tours during the 2007-08 academic year, plus a 3-day special photo journey. We will visit Bisbee, Sedona, Flagstaff, the Verde Valley and the metropolitan Phoenix area as we explore Arizona as our classroom.
Participants will learn about geology, mining, water issues, sustainability, agribusiness, forest management and dwellings—as well as careers in natural resource-related industries.
NOTE: All events take place on Saturdays and are free of charge. A $25 refundable commitment fee per person, per event is required at the time of registration. Due to popular demand, registration is limited to two AZventure expeditionary events per educator for the academic year. We will place you on a waiting list if you wish to attend additional expeditionary events.
