Homes: Back to the Future
October 6, 2007
Departs from Tempe
Throughout history, humans have used a variety of building materials to create a structure they called “home.” Some were permanent, some portable. Some were made of wood, others of rock, stone or grass. How did the Hohokam build their homes? What lessons can we learn from those ancient desert dwellers as we strive toward a sustainable future for ourselves and future generations? Join us as we travel back in time with a visit to Pueblo Grande, and then return to the future of “green” building and high tech design.
